Bulgarian school in Bern with Christmas concert online

Despite the pandemic, the Bulgarian school in Bern, Switzerland, remained open throughout the year with the exception of March.

The students and their teachers even organized a Christmas concert, though without an audience, but the children’s parents did watch online, BNR’s Keti Trencheva reports.

The Bulgarian school in Bern was set up almost three years ago, thanks to Bulgarian or mixed families in the region who found the first teachers for their children. The aim is to keep the bond with their native country, the Bulgarian language and culture intact. There are 4 classes with around 20 children at the school, and 3 teachers.
