Bulgarian nationals living in the USA have travelled to Washington to join the protests. This was stated by Bulgarian journalist Evgeni Veselinov on Nova TV. The Bulgarians organized themselves mainly via social networks. According to Vesselinov, who lives in Los Angeles, the US election results have caused divisions between both Americans and Bulgarians there.
"There is incredible division between people, including offensive language. Indeed, this is a reflection of what is happening in the elections. My opinion is that nothing will happen. Trump made a speech urging people to go home, and it was over. These are people who have been taught to comply with the government, " Veselinov explained.
