“If we want there to be trust in the election process, the voting by people under quarantine by mail must be arranged by way of amendments to the election code. This can happen through an extended interpretation of the law,” Alexander Andreev, chairman of the Central Election Commission said, BTA reports.
During consultations with President Rumen Radev it was made clear that according to the practice in countries with a tradition in postal voting, a current address is needed for this kind of vote where the election papers are sent.
