In the regular communication with Bulgaria, there is a consistent exchange of opinions and ideas aimed at overcoming the differences, North Macedonia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. The two countries often share proposals and views in which they state and explain their positions, the statement reads.

As a last step in the negotiations, the Republic of North Macedonia expects a response or remarks and proposals from Bulgaria under the action plan on the fulfillment of obligations in the Good Neighbor Agreement. "Thus, confidence in the Good Neighbor Agreement itself and in the process of bilateral dialogue, aimed to overcome the differences, will be restored, which sits well with two friendly neighboring countries in Europe," the statement said.
