Minister Zaharieva discusses Three Seas Initiative with Poland’s Coordinator Pawel Jablonski

Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva discussed with Poland’s Undersecretary of State and Governemnt Plenipotentiary for the Three Seas Initiative Pawel Jablonski issues related to the Three Seas Initiative. Bulgaria took over from Estonia the coordination process of the initiative in October 2020.

 "Bulgaria's goal is to continue the process of regional co-operation and building transport, energy and digital connectivity, as well as to host the Three Seas Initiative summit in 2021, accompanied by a business forum that will connect companies from the region with strategic foreign investors", Minister Zaharieva said.

The Three Seas is an initiative that brings together 12 EU Member States  between the Black, the Baltic and Adriatic Seas- Bulgaria, Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
