Environmentalists in Bulgaria call for the introduction of a deposit system for all bottles in the country as a long-term solution to disposable plastic pollution. They expressed their position with a symbolic two-meter wave of waste, which "flooded" the entrance of the Ministry of Environment and Water. After the protest action, the Deputy Minister of Environment Slaveya Stoyanova announced that the initiation of public discussions on the restriction of disposable plastic products was forthcoming.
