Registration of parties and coalitions for upcoming general elections begins

Bulgaria’s Central Election Commission has launched the application procedure for the forthcoming Parliamentary elections scheduled for April 4. Political parties and coalitions can submit their applications until 17.00 pm on February 17.

The electoral alliance Democratic Bulgaria has submitted their application first. For the purpose, representatives of Democratic Bulgaria waited for 24 hours in front of the Central Election Commission’s building.

Republicans for Bulgaria party headed by GERB’s former Deputy Chairman Tsvеtan Tsvetanov registered second.

In recent years, GERB party was always the first to register for elections.
