Four other member states- Belgium, Finland, Poland and Sweden- will also receive such letters, BNR’s correspondent in Brussels Angelina Piskova reported.
Bulgaria’s legal framework does not ensure that the racist and xenophobic motivation is taken into account by national courts as an aggravating factor for all crime committed, contends the European Commission. Bulgaria has two months to reply to the points raised by the Commission.
