More than 57,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine against Covid-19, which arrived last night, have already been distributed to Regional Health Inspectorates in the country. Yesterday, the fourth phase of the immunization plan started and anyone over the age of 18 can be vaccinated.

There are queues of dozens of people wishing to get vaccinated in front of the five vaccination points of the hospital for emergency medicine "Pirogov" in Sofia. Vaccination is also underway at the Military Medical Academy in the capital city and some of the vaccines are administered personally by the head of the Operational Headquarters, Gen. Ventsislav Mutafchiyski. Additional vaccination points have also opened in Burgas and the region, as well as in Plovdiv.

Mass vaccination continues tomorrow and another 180,000 doses of the three EU-approved vaccines are expected to arrive next week.
