The government has allocated over 800,000 euro for the renovation of Christian Orthodox churches and Ibrahim Pasha Mosque in Razgrad, BTA reports.
“In Bulgaria only ethnic tolerance, understanding among religions and among people can pull the country ahead,” PM Boyko Borissov said at today’s cabinet meeting. “The state takes care of everyone in equal measure, people must not worry, we do what is owed to them,” Boyko Borissov said.
More than 600,000 euro from this sum will be spent on repairing the monument of culture, the active Mosque Ibrahim Pasha. The rest of the funding will be spent on the restoration of village Orthodox churches in Sugarevo, Sandanski municipality and in Zhablianovo, Zemen municipality.
