The Roma Standing Conference has been preparing a pre-election manifesto, which will call on the candidates to commit themselves to effective measures and policies aimed at the Roma, lawyer Miglena Mihaylova from the organization has told BNR.

"The Roma community has a large reserve of young people and they can be useful for the economy if we reorient our educational system well," Kaloyan Damyanov, an expert in the field of special pedagogy and inclusive education, said. According to him, at the backdrop of ongoing demographic crisis, Bulgaria cannot afford to lose any young people.

Today, the first of a series of debates entitled "Investment in Roma - an investment for everyone" starts on the organization's Facebook page.
