The Prosecutors' College of the Supreme Judicial Council has decided to send additional information to the European Chief Prosecutor Laura Kövesi about Bulgarian candidates for European Delegated Prosecutors. Such information was requested for 7 out of 10 candidates. "I don't see a problem. The process has not finished yet," Bulgarian Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev said.
If additional information is not enough, a working group of the European Public Prosecutor's Office has the right to request more information and hearing of the candidates. Finally, all the data are provided to the European Chief Prosecutor, magistrates said and pointed out that the nomination procedure had been "completely objective and impartial," BTA reported.
