The future concessionaire of Sofia Airport - the SOF Connect consortium, will attract more than 450 million euros in long-term investments to this country and will pay EUR 225 million in concession fees to the state budget. This was what the company said in relation to speculations that there would be a change in the concession. SOF Connect confirms its commitment to the development of Sofia Airport, the "Horizont" program of the Bulgarian National Radio reported.

A postponement of the annual concession fees for the first 10 years has been envisaged. This is necessary in order to maintain the financial sustainability of the airport and to implement the large-scale investment program, including the construction of a new Terminal 3, the statement reads.
