Several people suspected of espionage arrested in Bulgaria

Several people who are suspected of espionage for Russia have been detained in Bulgaria, announced Russian news agencies, quoting Bulgarian media. The suspects were arrested in an operation of the State Agency for National Security, informed TASS agency. The news agency noted that neither Bulgaria’s Prosecutor’s Office, nor this country’s Ministry of Interior have so far confirmed this information, reported the Bulgarian National Radio.

The investigation into the case continues. It is not clear yet how many of the detainees will be charged by the Prosecutor’s Office and how many people will receive witness summons.
