The Russian Embassy in Bulgaria insists that until a court decision has been reached, all speculations about Russia's involvement in intelligence activities against the interests of Bulgaria should be stopped.
"In the conditions of a complicated international situation, the" tireless "attempts to drive a wedge into the Russian-Bulgarian dialogue and to demonize our country once again are obvious," the statement reads.
The diplomatic mission expresses hope that the espionage case will not be politicized and will be conducted “impartially and objectively in strict accordance with the norms of Bulgarian and international law."
