Sofia Municipality to support innovative social projects

Sofia Municipality is to finance projects aimed to support children, families and disadvantaged citizens. The projects aim to improve their quality of life and help them overcome social exclusion. They are part of the Social Innovation programme. Its budget amounts to EUR 50,000.

Projects aimed at preventing domestic violence and isolation stemming from the coronavirus epidemic will be implemented for the first time. A chatbot will also be available for victims of domestic violence or for people who want to help these victims. Another project will allow people with disabilities to feel new emotions caused by the communication with nature.
