Washington does not want Sofia and Skopje to internationalize their dispute

No one wants to see NATO partners and allies threatening each other, said for Voice of America Matthew Palmer, Deputy Assistant Secretary at U.S. Department of State.

"What we would like to see is Skopje and Sofia working in dialogue to resolve issues in the bilateral relationship and keeping those issues out of multilateral formats including in NATO and the European Union”, stressed Matthew Palmer.
