Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva met with the newly-appointed Ambassador of Romania to Sofia Brândușa Predescu. Ekaterina Zaharieva and Brândușa Predescu discussed the cooperation between Sofia and Bucharest within the frameworks of the Three Seas Initiative.

Minister Zaharieva and Ambassador Predescu agreed that Bulgaria and Romania should work actively to attract foreign investors to the region. “Together we must convince business that our region is good for investing”, Minister Zaharieva said and added that the business forum scheduled for the summer of 2021 within the frameworks of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Three Seas Initiative provides a good opportunity to achieve this goal. Ekaterina Zaharieva wished good luck to the first female Ambassador of Romania to Bulgaria.
