“The parliamentary group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party will not support a government put forward by GERB,” announced BSP leader Kornelia Ninova at a briefing after a meeting of the party’s National Council.

“Consultations will be held with There Is Such a People party, which is in second position, and, under certain conditions BSP would support a cabinet proposed by them, without taking part in it. The question of holding a congress of the BSP was not raised at the party meeting, that is why there will be no congress,” Kornelia Ninova stated further.

“Everyone is entitled to an opinion and to demand my resignation, I have made no apologies,” she stated.
