The largest maritime administration in the world - the Republic of Panama, plans to open a representative office in Bulgaria's coastal city Burgas. 7 people will work in it, and its activity will start in 2 weeks, BNR's correspondent Daniela Kostadinova reported from Burgas.
The international representation will register vessels, issue endorsements to seafarers and seaman's books. It will also be possible to certify mortgage or purchase agreements for ships and any other activities related to the navigation of a ship flying the flag of Panama.
The opening of an official representation of Panama in Bulgaria is of significant benefit for the development of the maritime industry in Bulgaria.
