Large tree falls on a busy boulevard in Sofia

A large tree fell in the pedestrian zone on Vitosha Boulevard downtown Sofia. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident which took place at a time when many people were strolling across the boulevard and restaurants with outdoor seating were full of customers.

The tree fell near a restaurant table. A family with a child were sitting on the table, informed a reporter from Horizont channel of the Bulgarian National Radio. Last year, a branch of the same tree fell on a table from the same restaurant.
