The Council of Ministers has taken a decision proposing that President Rumen Radev dismiss Ivailo Ivanov from the post of Chief Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior.
Ivailo Ivanov was appointed Chief Secretary of the Interior Ministry in December 2018. Before that he was head of the Sofia Metropolitan Directorate of the Interior, BNR’s Nikolay Hristov reports. It is as yet unknown who will be appointed Chief Secretary in his place.
