Bulgaria has submitted false names of Russian agents to Interpol, says former ambassador to NATO

Under the leadership of the Prosecutor General, Bulgaria has given to Interpol false names of Russian agents, Boyko Noev, a former military minister and ambassador to NATO, told BNR. He added that the prosecution has been sabotaging the Czech investigation into the explosions at an ammunition warehouse in Vrbetice, which are likely to be linked to Bulgaria. 

"Under the influence of external council, Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev, previously his predecessor Sotir Tsatsarov and now former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov are covering up the activities of the Russian services in our country," Boyko Noev stressed.
"When military factories and warehouses were exploding in Bulgaria, Tsatsarov and Geshev were holding meetings with Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika," commented human rights lawyer Mikhail Ekimdzhiev. According to him, it is important to understand what they talked about and whether the inaction of the prosecutor's office and the placement of an umbrella over the Russian agents who "blow up, kill, poison with impunity" was not agreed upon. 
The lawyer also said that in Bulgaria the security services eavesdrop "in an absolutely bandit manner" and for last year alone the specialized courts issued 2,798 permits for the special surveillance means, some 14-15 per day.
