All citizens who already have a certificate for completed vaccination cycle against Covid-19 will be able to reissue their document in European format free of charge on the website of the National Health Information System (www.his.bg) in the section "Me and My Family". They will be able to download the document without having qualified digital certificate. This is expected to be possible on June 4, 2021, the Ministry of Health has reported.
In order to obtain the new European format, citizens who already have a certificate will need to enter their ID card number and national reference number of one of the two vaccines described in the previous document. Foreign citizens will have to fill in their personal number and the number of the document for permanent residence in Bulgaria, respectively. The system will allow the download of the document only if all entered data are filled in correctly.
