An Eco pavilion opens today in Sofia’s South Park on the occasion of the EU Green Week 2021. The event is organized by Sofia Municipality which aims to hold discussions about air quality, the promotion of separate waste collection, the municipal afforestation programs and programs for renovation of green areas.

The residents of Bulgaria’s capital will be able to bring and dispose of textile waste and old electric household appliances. They will receive small gifts in return. Those who dream of having a pet at home will have the opportunity to adopt a dog from the municipal enterprise "Ekoravnovesie". An animator will take care of the visitors’ children.
