The Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum has granted the 2020 Responsible Business Awards. The main objective of the annual awards is to give credit to companies with remarkable record in the field of corporate social responsibility and encourage other business representatives to start or further develop socially-beneficial activities. The Chairman of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum Levon Hampartzoumian highlighted the difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic, as well as Bulgaria’s opportunities.
“The world is under repair. Supply chains and everything else is being rearranged and we have the unique opportunity to be more responsible and successful. Bulgaria's economy accounts for 0.4%-0.5% of the turnover in the EU. If we triple the current figures, no one will notice that, because we do not pose an economic threat to anyone. However, we would be three times better off”, noted this country’s banker and financial expert.
