Volunteers to help border health control

Photo: Kiril Falin

Health inspectorates from the border regions and Sofia have been looking for 167 volunteers to ensure border health control and round-the-clock operation of border checkpoints during the summer tourist season, the Ministry of Health has reported. For this purpose, the ministry will allocate about 286,000 euros.

Attracting volunteers is necessary due to the great workload of the regional health inspectorates and their inability to provide sufficient staff to the border health control teams.
