No weather warnings in effect on Friday

Cloudy weather and thunderstorms are in the forecast for many Bulgarian regions on Friday, mainly in Southern and Eastern Bulgaria. Hailstorms are also possible. The maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 27° and 32° degrees Celsius.

Cumulonimbus clouds will form over the Black Sea coast with a chance of rain and hailstorms. The maximum temperatures north of Varna will range between 25°and 27°. In Burgas, Sunny Beach and the southern Black Sea coast temperatures will reach 26°. The temperature of the sea water is 20°-24°, sea state 2-3.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the mountains as well. The maximum temperature at 1,200 meters will be 20°, at 2,000 meters - around 14°. The maximum temperatures in the mountain resorts of Borovets and Pamporovo will reach 20°-21°.The maximum temperature in Bansko resort and the town of Smolyan will reach 26°-27°.

Sunny weather is in the forecast for the weekend. Showers are possible in the mountain areas on Friday afternoon. Parts of Northeastern Bulgaria may see some rain on Saturday.
