Photo: Varna Municipality

This summer tourists who have chosen to spend their holidays in Varna on the Black Sea or in any of the resorts nearby will be given free tourist maps with information about the cultural and historical sites in the region, the public transport lines, entertainment facilities or where they can shop. Special attention is given to the resorts of Golden Sands, Chaika, Saints Constantine and Helena etc.

Holidaymakers will be given access to free vouchers for various tourist sites. For example, if they are spending 5 nights or more they will be able to visit the Roman thermae, free of charge, and if they are spending 7 nights or more – they will be able to see the oldest processed gold in the world at the Museum of Archaeology, again free of charge. The vouchers can be obtained in person at the Kozirkata tourist information centre (opposite the cathedral), after presenting a document (hotel passport or copy of the reservation) as evidence of your stay, Varna municipality has announced.
