Decline in all coronavirus indicators in Bulgaria in past day

The number of new coronavirus infections is declining for a third day. 60 is the number of newly registered Covid-19 cases out of over 12,200 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 0.49%, Single Coronavirus Portal data show.

The highest number of new infections is in Sofia – 12, followed by Plovdiv with 8. In 10 regions of the country no new infections have been reported in the past day.

8,108 is the number of active cases in the country, 959 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 113 of them in intensive care. 2 have died in the past 24 hours, the number of recoveries is 146.

12,842 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past day, bringing their total number to 1,823,403. The number of fully vaccinated people in the country is 836,153.
