Projects of the non-governmental association Tuk-Tam and Zaslushai se Foundation will be supported by a special program of the internet giant Google – GIC /Google Impact Challenge/. They were selected along with 11 other organizations from 11 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, which will receive a total of 2m euros to implement their ideas. The goal of the global company's program is to support ideas that put the digital at the heart of economic recovery.
The goal of the Tuk-Tam team is to upgrade its previous activities related to the creation of a community of Bulgarian compatriots living at home and abroad. Since 2008, the foundation has successfully held over 300 events and reached nearly half a million people.
The team of Zaslushai se Foundation also plans to continue its mission to ensure equality for deaf people. They have received Google's approval for their new master's program, which includes international exchange and digital innovation.
