Weather forecast for Bulgaria over the weekend

Yellow weather warning throughout the country

On Saturday the weather will be sunny and hot, with cumulus rain clouds gathering in the afternoon over the westernmost regions of the country, with occasional heavy rain with thunder, and conditions for hail. Maximum temperatures 32° - 37° C, for Sofia 33° C.

Along the Black Sea coastline there will be sun. Maximum temperatures 28° C at Cape Shabla to the North to 32° C in Burgas to the South. Seawater temperature 26° C, sea state 2.

Over the mountains the weather will be predominantly sunny. Clouds will gather in the afternoon over the mountains in Western Bulgaria and there will be occasional showers and rain. Maximum temperatures at 1,200 m. above sea level 26° C, at 2,000 m. 19° C. Temperatures in the resorts of Pamporovo and Borovets - 25° C -26° C, in Smolyan and Bansko - 30°C.

On Sunday and Monday the weather will be sunny and hot but over Western Bulgaria cumulus rain clouds will gather in the afternoon with occasional rain and thunder, and conditions for hail. Maximum temperatures on Sunday 32° C -  37°C. As of Monday temperatures will start to drop.
