As of 19 July arrivals in England and Scotland from Bulgaria will be exempt from a 10-day quarantine. According to information by the Bulgarian embassy in London the reason is that Bulgaria is now on Britain’s green list of countries.

Upon their arrival they must take a Covid-19 test on the first or on the second day. If the result returns positive they will be placed under quarantine. They will have to self-isolate if the NHS Test & Trace pings them as having travelled with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.
