"The coalition GERB-SDS will not take part in the consultations initiated by President Rumen Radev on the formation of a new government," Desislava Atanasova, leader of the coalition's parliamentary group announced at a press conference held at the National Assembly.
"The President violated the principles of the Constitution - that he must unite the nation and hold a dialogue with all political parties. He should pay the price for this disunity at the upcoming presidential election," said GERB deputy chair Daniel Mitov.
The other GERB deputy chair Tomislav Donchev declared that GERB would be part of the opposition to the "political construct" that is taking shape in the country.
