Lyubomir Epitropov qualifies for 200 m. breaststroke semifinals in Tokyo, breaks national record

Bulgarian swimmer Lyubomir Epitropov qualified for the 200 metres breaststroke semifinals at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, setting a new national record.

He clocked 2:09.68 minutes, for the first time dropping below 2:10 minutes in the event, and improving his own top achievement of 2:10.12.

The semifinals are tomorrow, 28 July.
