The proposal to cut down the salaries of the members of parliament down to the average for the country, made by “Stand Up BG! We Are Coming!”, was rejected in plenary. One more proposal was rejected – that the MPs cover their own transport costs in the performance of their duties. From now on the members of parliament will not receive a supplement of up to 25% of their salaries when they are carrying out tasks of priority significance for the country.
