Giuseppe Verdi's "Aida", Georges Bizet's "Carmen Suite", PyotrI lyich Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" and Maurice Ravel's "Bolero" are part of the program of this year's Summer Festival "Opera of the Peaks – Belogradchik Rocks”, which continues until August 15.
This is the sixth edition of the festival, hosted by the town of Belogradchik, famous for its natural phenomenon - The Belogradchik Rocks. "Opera of the Peaks" is one of the avant-garde ideas of Academician Plamen Kartalov, head of the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
