No risk for fire from North Macedonia to spread to Bulgaria

Despite the high temperatures and the strong wind today, there have been no signals for fires. Before BNR Blagoevgrad, the director of the Southwestern State Enterprise, Eng. Damyan Damyanov, clarified that the fire in the Republic of North Macedonia is not approaching the Bulgarian border. The thermal camera of the Operations Centre has detected that the fire has been moving away by about 1 km. 

Bulgaria's border police are also monitoring the border with their thermal cameras.
