More than 1.5 million foreign tourists are expected to visit Bulgaria in August, whereas only 740,000 foreign guests visited this county last summer. Nearly 8 million foreign tourists are expected to visit Bulgaria in 2021. In 2020, the number of foreign tourists in Bulgaria amounted to 2,556,000. The beaches along Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast are full of people. Tourists are complaining about the shortage of sunbeds and beach umbrellas, said Associate Professor Rumen Draganov.
