Weather forecast for Bulgaria for August 10, 2021

Yellow Code alert for hot weather across Bulgaria except for Black Sea coast on Tuesday

On Tuesday the weather will be sunny and hot. Clouds will form over Rila, Pirin and the Rhodope Mountains in the afternoon hours. However, no significant precipitation is expected in these areas. Maximum temperatures 35-41°C, in Sofia-26°C.

Along the Black Sea coastline the weather will be sunny. Breeze is expected along the seacoast in the afternoon hours. Maximum temperatures ranging from 30°C in Cape Shabla to 33°C in the coastal areas located south of Burgas. Seawater temperature 26°C-27°C, sea state 1.

Over the mountains the weather will be sunny. Occasional showers are possible over the southwestern mountain regions in the afternoon hours. Maximum temperatures at 1,200 meters- around 29°C, at 2,000 meters- around 22°C. In Borovets and Pamporovo resorts, the maximum temperatures will reach 30°C. In Bansko and Dobrinishte resorts, the maximum temperatures will reach 35°C.

The weather this week will be predominantly sunny. The temperatures will drop slightly and after Friday, the maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 30°C and 35°C.
