Total of 2001 coronavirus patients are currently in hospital

1,387 coronavirus cases were registered in the past day after 20,072 tests, according to the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. Nearly 7% of tests returned positive result. The highest number of newly infected is in Sofia - 255, followed by Plovdiv - 165 and Burgas - 117.

Currently, there are 2001 patients in hospitals as 174 of them are in intensive care. Sixteen people passed away and 235 recovered. There are 18,119 active cases in this country. Yesterday, 12,807 coronavirus vaccines were administered, bringing the total number to 2,188,957. There are 1,094,904 people in Bulgaria who have already been vaccinated with both doses.
