Toshko Yordanov, deputy chair of “There Is such a People” party (ITN) confirmed that the party is remaining in opposition. Talking to reporters he made it clear that ITN would not support a cabinet with the third cabinet-forming mandate, whichever political force the President may hand it to.

Maya Manolova, chair of “Stand Up, BG! We Are Coming!” parliamentary group on her part stated that the formation was starting talks with all parties represented in parliament, with the exception of GERB and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, on the formation of a government that will govern until the spring of next year.

According to Hristo Ivanov, co-chair of “Democratic Bulgaria”, the talks will depend on who the third mandate will be given to but the coalition will take part in them. He added that if ITN holds onto their position and remain in opposition the country is in for new elections.
