Weather forecast for August 21

Clear skies are in the weather forecast for most parts of Bulgaria on Friday night. Occasional showers are expected over the far southwestern regions. On Saturday the weather will be sunny. There will be cloudy spells over Southwestern Bulgaria where occasional showers and thunderstorms are possible. Light to moderate northerly and northeasterly winds are also expected. The maximum temperatures will range from 28°C to 33°C.

It will stay sunny along the Black Sea coast. Light to moderate easterly and northeasterly winds are expected along the coastline. Maximum temperatures between 26°C and 29°C. The seawater temperature is around 26°C. Sea state 2.

In the Bulgarian mountains, the weather will be predominantly sunny. Clouds will form over the mountain regions of Southwestern Bulgaria, where occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon hours. Moderate northerly winds are expected. The maximum temperatures at 1,200 meters will be around 23°C, at 2,000 meters-15°C.
