Varna hosts annual kite festival

Kites of various shapes and colors will fly above the Asparuhovo Beach in Varna on August 21 and 22. The festival is becoming increasingly attractive for the residents of Bulgaria’s marine capital and visitors. 

The 9th edition of the Varna Kite Festival accentuates on demonstrations of international kite clubs from Turkey and Greece. According to the organizers, more than 3,000 participants are expected to join this year’s edition of the festival.
