Nine Bulgarian citizens, evacuated earlier this week from Kabul to Doha, have already arrived in Bulgaria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs report.

The ministry has expressed its gratitude to Bulgaria’s foreign partners and allies for the successful return of our compatriots to their homeland. Their withdrawal was also carried out with the help of the staff of the Bulgarian embassies in Doha and Islamabad. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its gratitude to the Qatari and Pakistani authorities for their cooperation.

We recall that yesterday, thanks to the Romanian authorities, five Bulgarian citizens evacuated from Afghanistan returned to Bulgaria.
