Bulgarian President Rumen Radev conferred the Honorary Sign of the Head of State on prominent men and women of culture.
The award was bestowed on the doyenne of TV directing in Bulgaria Ivanka Antonova, who took part in the first live TV programme in the country in 1959, Olga Borisova – one of the most popular Bulgarian folk singers, and the professional dance performer and choreographer Dimitar Manov, a famous name in Bulgarian folklore art.
“Today’s ceremony is an expression of the deep gratitude our society has for your talent, your hard work and your dedication to the cause called Bulgaria,” President Radev said.
