Eighteen-year-old man dies after contracting Covid-19

43 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past 24 hours, including an eighteen-year-old man from the town of Veliko Tarnovo. Initially, he was admitted to a local hospital. Later, when his health condition deteriorated, he was transported to the University Hospital St. Anna in Sofia, where he passed away. Covid-19 morbidity in Veliko Tarnovo continues to increase.

 Veliko Tarnovo is among the ten Bulgarian regions placed in the Covid-19 red zone with more than 250 cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 people. Doctors sound the alarm that the number of people infected with Covid-19 during their summer holiday has increased.
