"I walk barefoot on the asphalt, I’m whistling and looking for nothing - just a childhood habit still lives in me…"

Certainly the generation that grew up with disco music knows this hit from the repertoite of Bulgarian pop singer Rositsa Kirilova quite well. The music is the work of Zornitsa Popova - author of hundreds of songs, many of which have become "evergreens". The text is by Yordan Yankov and was written especially for Rosi Kirilova.

At that time, the singer was at the beginning of her career, and "Walking barefoot on the asphalt road" not only immediately became a hit, but also became one of her signature songs.

Recently Vyara Panteleeva and VINTAGE band made a new arrangement and recorded a cover, which is part of their new VINTAGE project.
