Bulgaria reports 1,564 new cases of Covid-19 out of 25,799 tests performed

1,564 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 25,799 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 6% of the tests have returned positive result. The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-220, followed by Varna -167 and Plovdiv-166 new cases. 

There are currently 3,985 patients in hospital-113 more than yesterday, as 333 patients are in intensive care units. 51 people have died and 684 have been reported cured in the past 24 hours. There are 33,021 active cases of Covid-19.

12,190 Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of inoculations against Covid-19 to 2,336,831. There are 1,188,377 people with completed immunization.
