Bulgaria reports 488 new cases of Covid-19 out of 12,151 tests performed

488 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 12,151 tests performed, indicate data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. 4% of the tests have returned positive result. 

The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-88, followed by Varna-84 and Burgas-38. 4,161 patients are in hospital, 33 of them in intensive care units. 

32 people have died and 485 have been reported cured in the past day. There are 34,390 active cases of Covid-19.

Yesterday, 2,148 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria, bringing the total number of inoculations against Covid-19 to 2,354,543. There are 1,199,588 people with completed immunization.
